Now here's an Idea which came to ma mind, why not have a social networking site which actually visualize this kind of short, quick and/or long term updates. We can even have gadgets which can be build using API's of exsisting social networking sites (if they provide). This is just one way to represent on map, there can be several ways to do this which can be much more facts revealing and interesting, this can take social networking sites one step ahead.
